Our History
Founded in 2013, UXPA Austin is a key chapter of UXPA International, a global organization dedicated to supporting UX professionals in the research, design, and evaluation of products and services. As one of 59 chapters worldwide, we contribute to a network that began in 1991 and now spans members in more than 30 countries.
UXPA International, with its commitment to professional development and community building, provides a strong foundation for our local activities. In Austin, we focus on harnessing the unique energy and innovative spirit of our city to foster a vibrant UX community. Our chapter offers a platform for local UX professionals to connect, share ideas, and grow, aligning with UXPA's goals of promoting UX practices and facilitating knowledge sharing.
